HOW DOES IT WORK?
Engage all employees and the whole insured population (employees and their families) in a program that changes behavior in a fun and rewarding way.
It's simple. For 12 weeks:
- Participants track their daily exercise activity in their Walk A Day™ Journal.
- Participants earn 1 point for each day they exercise at least 30 minutes.
At the end of 12 weeks:
- Participants write their name and total points earned on the front cover of their Walk A Day™ Journal and turn it in for a chance to win a Wii™. The minimum number of points to enter is 50, which means an average of 30 minutes of exercise per day for a little over four days each week.
- The winner of the Wii™ game system is chosen via a random drawing and announced to the organization.
That's it! No muss, no fuss, just a simple, rewarding program to encourage employees and their families to start and keep moving.
The Challenge requires a Nintendo Wii™ Game Console, approximately $200, purchased separately at one of your local retailers or internet retailers. Optionally, you can purchase the Wii Fit™ or Wii Fit Plus™ to add to the Wii™ Game Console for approximately $100.
